Teriyaki Doritos
I like the package design for these Teriyaki Doritos, especially because they feature a teriyaki burger. I was wondering if I’d misunderstood and they were actually teriyaki burger flavored, actually pretty hopeful that would be the case. As I bit into the first chip, there was the slightly sweet, but familiar teriyaki flavor. Strangely, there was a lot of corn taste from the underlying chip that I never seem to notice from an American Dorito, definitely much less flavor has been added. In all other ways, this was a standard Dorito. Just with a sweet teriyaki taste. That flavor actually works well for a chip, though not something I’d want to have very often.
80g package purchased from jlist.com for $2.00. Here are links to reviews from Foodette Reviews, Tasty Japan (which explains that meat extract powder is an ingredient, hence the teriyaki burger), and Japanese Kat.

My son and friend was conjuring up flavors and thought salt and vinegar would be awesome. Just a suggestion for a new flavor. My son said you see that flavor in about every chip but Dorito’s. We used to love the cracked pepper also but was short lived. Just an idea for a new flavor. Don’t you think it would be a great flavor to experience with? Everyone seems to love salt&vinegar.
